Children's Meeting
We meet at 10.30am at Cotteridge Quaker (“Friends”) Meeting House every week in term time. Our children’s class meets in the large classroom at 10.30. At 11.15 children and young people join the main meeting for worship (find out more about Quaker worship here).
Our children and young people are aged from zero to about 14 years . We enjoy a wide range of activities including gardening, crafts, music, cooking and games. We explore issues that we care about like peace and the environment. The children help plan the programme and suggest ideas for activities and topics and help run some of the sessions.
We make time each week to share what’s been going on in our lives and think about what’s important to us. We sometimes learn more about Quakers, and think about how we can make the world a better place for everyone.
If you’d like to join us, you’re very welcome to come along any Sunday morning. If you’d like to check what we have planned, or find out more about the youth group, please email cqmclerk@gmail.com.
Youth Group
A youth group for 10-18 year olds runs regularly, usually on the first Saturday of the month from 6-8pm. It moves around local Meeting Houses. Sometimes special events are organised such as outdoor pursuits days, canal boat trips, picnics, bonfires and sleepovers. For more information please contact admin@ceaqm.org.uk
