Welcome to Cotteridge Quakers!

Eco Church Gold!

In 2004 some Cotteridge Quakers established a “Living Witness” Group to promote sustainability in our meeting. We started on the road to making our 1964 building more energy efficient.

In 2011 we were given an Eco Congregation Award. In that same year Quakers nationally minuted they intended to be “a low carbon community.”

By 2016 we earned a Silver Eco Church award.

In 2019 we achieved Eco Church Gold!

Cotteridge Quaker Community Fund

The Cotteridge Quaker Community Fund exists to provide grants for projects and initiatives which improve the environment and social community of Cotteridge. We aim to make Cotteridge an even nicer place to live in for everyone.

The fund has been made possible by a legacy left to Cotteridge Quakers by the family of the late Helen Morris.

Grant applications should be for projects within the Cotteridge area (see map) but those just outside the area may be considered.
