Welcome to Cotteridge Quakers!

Community Fund Grants

In 2021 we established  a Community Fund  using a legacy from our Friend Helen Morris.   We aimed it at making Cotteridge an even nicer place to live.   It is with great pleasure we announce grants will be going to eight local projects: Friends of Cotteridge Park for The Cotteridge Park Youth club, Cotteridge Primary School for an outdoor quiet area and library, Tending to Cotteridge for planters, Cotteridge Church for a Children’s Christmas Party and for the Cotteridge Christmas Tree, ROAM in Schools, Fox Clubs Nature Play for We Play Outside and New Baby Network for Milk Mates Cotteridge.

We look forward to seeing the fruits of these seeds!

We worship together every Sunday, 10:30 to 11:30, at Cotteridge Quaker Meeting House, 23A Watford Road, Cotteridge, Birmingham B30 1JB. Read more…

Worship is at the heart of what it means to be a Quaker. Meeting for worship brings Quakers together in stillness so we can quiet our minds and open our hearts and lives to God. Everyone is welcome to join us. Read more…

Cotteridge Quaker Community Fund

The Cotteridge Quaker Community Fund exists to provide grants for projects and initiatives which improve the environment and social community of Cotteridge. We aim to make Cotteridge an even nicer place to live in for everyone.

The fund has been made possible by a legacy left to Cotteridge Quakers by the family of the late Helen Morris.

Grant applications should be for projects within the Cotteridge area (see map) but those just outside the area may be considered.
